Blood of Redemption (2013)
Quinn Forte had it all: power, money, a brother who idolized him, and a woman who loved him. He also had enemies. In the course of one night, he loses everything. Betrayed by someone in his inner circle, Quinn is set up and arrested. His father, the patriarch of the criminal empire is killed and his brother suspects that Quinn is behind it all. When he's released from jail he tries to escape the demons from his past, but that becomes an impossible task. Campbell, the ruthless new leader of "The Company" won't let him leave in peace. So instead of escaping them, Quinn fights back. He joins forces with his former henchman and friend, The Swede, and takes on his enemies head on.

Getaway (2013)
We open to Brent Magna (Ethan Hawke) arriving home. The place has been ransacked, with the Christmas decorations destroyed and shattered glass everywhere. In addition, there is an obvious sign of a struggle, given Brent finds blood on the floor. He calls out to his wife and gets no response. Suddenly, his phone rings
Cut to a parking garage where a tricked out Shelby Mustang waits. Brent steals it and escapes the parking garage despite security trying to stop him.
We flashback to him getting the call; a middle-aged man, simply called The Voice (Jon Voight) tells him that his wife has been taken and if Brent wants her back, he will have to do EXACTLY what he is told. The Voice tells him to steal the car. It has been outfitted with cameras to watch his every move, and is armor plated to deflect gunfire. Brent is warned by The Voice that he must do whatever he is directed to do. If he refuses a task, fails in it, or is caught by the police, then his wife will die.

Riddick (2013)
Five years after The Chronicles of Riddick, Riddick has become increasingly uneasy in his role as Lord Marshall of the Necromonger fleet. His refusal to swear into the Necromonger faith has caused dissent among his subjects. Riddick strikes a deal with Commander Vaako; the location of Furya and a ship to take him there, in exchange for Vaako becoming the next Lord Marshall. Led by Vaako's aid, Krone, Riddick and a group of Necromongers arrive on a desolate planet. Recognizing it is not Furya, Riddick kills most of his escort when they attempt to assassinate him. In the chaos, Krone causes alandslide and buries Riddick alive.

While wealthy Manhattanite brothers Dylan, Logan and their friends make the trek across town for a Brooklyn concert, they run into Simon, a notorious gangster. Dylan, in an ill-advised bid for a criminal relationship with Simon, sets up a drug deal. The deal soon goes awry, and a livid Simon wants them dead. In a desperate attempt to get back to Manhattan, the group must flee deeper and deeper into the belly of New York City's labyrinthine-like subway system in a terrifying life-or-death race against their pursuers.

The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013)
In New York City, teenager Clary Fray (Lily Collins) begins seeing strange symbols, concerning her mother Jocelyn Fray (Lena Headey) and her mother's friend Luke Garroway (Aidan Turner). Later, while attending a nightclub with her friend Simon Lewis(Robert Sheehan), Clary witnesses a man being murdered by Jace Wayland (Jamie Campbell Bower), whom only Clary appears to see. Meanwhile, Jocelyn is abducted by two men, Emil Pangborn (Kevin Durand) and Samuel Blackwell (Robert Maillet), and leaves a message for Clary warning her that someone named Valentine is coming after her. Returning home, Clary is attacked by a demon and rescued by Jace, who reveals himself to be a Shadowhunter, a warrior trained to slay demons hidden on Earth, such as the man in the nightclub. Jocelyn was a Shadowhunter as well, and Clary has inherited her powers, including the ability to read runes.

Kick-Ass 2 (2013)
Dave Lizewski (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) has inspired a number of ordinary citizens to become super heroes, having retired from fighting crime himself. Inspired by this resurgence, he brings back his Kick-Ass persona, joining a team of fellow vigilantes called "Justice Forever". The team, led by Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey), includes Dave's friend Marty (Clark Duke), now known as Battle Guy, and love interest Night-Bitch (Lindy Booth). Mindy Macready (Chloë Grace Moretz) reluctantly retires from her Hit-Girl persona at the request of her new guardian, Marcus (Morris Chestnut). Chris D'Amico (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), upset at his mother's (Yancy Butler) apathy towards his father's death, accidentally kills her with a tanning bed. Free from his mother's control and extremely wealthy from her inheritance, Chris resurfaces as the world's first super villain, calling himself "The Motherfucker".

Elysium (2013)
In the year 2154 two classes of people exist: the very wealthy who live on a pristine man-made space station called Elysium, and the rest, who live on an overpopulated, ruined Earth. Secretary Rhodes, a government official, will stop at nothing to enforce anti-immigration laws and preserve the luxurious lifestyle of the citizens of Elysium. That doesn't stop the people of Earth from trying to get in, by any means they can. R.I.P.D. (2013)
Boston Police Department Detectives Nick Walker (Ryan Reynolds) and Bobby Hayes (Kevin Bacon) steal a chest full of gold found during a drug bust, and Nick buries his share of the gold in his backyard, intending to use it to create a better life for himself and his wife, Julia (Stephanie Szostak). However, he regrets his decision and informs Hayes he intends to return the gold. Later, during a raid on a warehouse, Nick and Hayes get into a shootout with criminals, and Hayes kills Nick to prevent him from returning the gold, framing one of the criminals for the murder.

The Incredible Hulk 2 (2008)
At Culver University in Virginia, General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross (William Hurt) meets with Dr. Bruce Banner (Edward Norton), the colleague and lover of his daughterBetty (Liv Tyler), regarding an experiment that is meant, Ross claims, to make humans immune to gamma radiation. The experiment—part of a World War II era "super soldier" program that Ross hopes to recreate—fails and exposes Banner to huge amounts of gamma radiation. This has the effect of causing Banner to transform into the Hulk for brief periods of time, whenever his blood pressure rises above 200. The Hulk destroys the lab and injures or kills the people inside. Banner becomes a fugitive from the U.S. military and Ross in particular, who wants to weaponize the Hulk process.
2 Guns (2013)
Robert Trench, an undercover DEA agent, takes advantage of gunman Michael Stigman's idea to rob a bank to bust him and a mob boss. However, it proves too successful with much more money seized than anticipated with Trench's forces not stopping the getaway. Complicating things still more, Stigman turns out to be a Naval Intelligence agent who shoots Trench and takes the money. The interservice debacle suddenly finds Trench and Stigman in a bloody web of corrupt clandestine rivalries as they are hunted, blackmailed and isolated for the money on both sides of the law. Now, the fugitives must work together to find a way out of this situation with no one to turn to but themselves.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011)
Will Rodman (James Franco) a scientist at biotechnology company Gen-Sys, is testing viral-based drug "ALZ-112' on chimpanzees to find a cure for brain ailments such as Alzheimer's disease. The drug is given to a chimpanzee, Bright Eyes, greatly increasing her intelligence, but she is forced from her cage, goes on a rampage, and is killed. Will's boss Steven Jacobs (David Oyelowo) terminates the project and orders chimp handler Robert Franklin (Tyler Labine) to euthanize the chimps. After doing as ordered, Franklin discovers that Bright Eyes had recently given birth and convinces Will to save the baby chimp's life by taking him home temporarily. Will's father Charles (John Lithgow), who is suffering Alzheimer's disease, names the chimp "Caesar." Will learns that Caesar (Andy Serkis) has inherited his mother's high intelligence and decides to raise him, working from home and observing his behavior in hopes that he can get the project restarted. Three years later, Will introduces Caesar to the redwood forest at Muir Woods National Monument. Meanwhile, with Charles' condition rapidly deteriorating, Will treats him with ALZ-112 and he is restored to better-than-original cognitive ability.
